About Model

I was an Emergency Department physician working during the pandemic and contracted COVID, which turned into Long Covid. This made it impossible for me to continue to function as a doctor, and I was forced to leave my attending position behind me. I miss caring for my patients and teaching my residents, but now I have more time to spend with my wonderful 16-year-old twins and my family. I also spend my free time volunteering at various schools and tutoring underprivileged and at-risk youth.
