About Model

My name is Daniella Akellot, a professional fashion model from Uganda. I am passionate about modeling. Although I was discovered more than 10 years ago in the UK, I have never given up on my childhood dream of working as a model. I am joining this competition because I would like to visit one of the world’s fashion capital, Paris and work as a model in Paris Fashion Week. I returned to Uganda after being discovered in the UK to try to make it as a model however the fashion industry in my country hasn’t evolved. If I win this competition, I will be an inspiration to many young people in Uganda to become fashion models like I am. Many young people will know that dreams are possible if you don’t give up on them.
